Two queries...

Started to play BB again and pick up the basics. Just a couple of things I've wondered about (probably stupid ones, but appreciate it if I could clarify anyway)...

1. Can you Go For It in order to reach an opposing player as part of a blitz? As far as I'm aware there's no limit to how many times per turn your players can GFI, so theoretically all 11 (or however many are on the pitch) could GFI...???

2. Assisting a block/fouls; again no limits how times per turn you can use either of these?

#1. Yes you can use it during a Blitz. Like you mentioned, you can, if you want to, use it for each of your players during each of your turns. Remember the more dice you roll, the better the odds of you failing one.

#2 Yes, an assist is not an action per se. so a player can lend as many as is possible per turn.

Just a bit more detail on #1 - As Snew wrote, each player on the team can GFI 2 times per move, but an individual player can not, say, GFI for three extra spaces in the same action.

And don't forget that, when blitzing, the block counts as one square of movement, so if you had to GFI once to get next to your opponent, you will have to GFI a second time to actually throw the block. Likewise, if it took all of your move and the 2 GFI to get next to an opponent, you can't hit them as you don't have enough movement left.

#2: You can assist blocks and assist fouls with as many players as you want and as often as you like, and you can block as often as you like. But you are limited to one blitz per team turn and one foul per team turn.

Snew, DaFoola & Cramy - thanks for your clarifications guys... confirms what I thought on each; particularly if you need to GFI in order to complete a blitz. Cheers once again!
