Bribe the ref and turnovers

Recently rolled up Bribe the ref on the handicap table in a semi final game in my local league. Then on the first and second kick offs of the game, we rolled Get the ref and I won both of those. Needless to say, I fouled my opponent 12 of 16 turns. And he managed to finally get a player kicked off on the last turn of the game. But I still had Bribe the ref.

My question is, is it a turnover when a player gets thrown out for fouling even if its negated by Bribe the ref?

We just ended the game because I was losing 2-1 with no chance of scoring on the last turn. But I got to thinking about it and was just wondering.

It is not a turnover, actually you do not roll for the referee if you got the ref, so the situation should never occur.

Even if you hadn't gotten the ref, the fact that your player isn't actually sent off (owing to the bribe) means no turnover occurs.
