Block my own player?

May I block my own player?

Following Situation:

Kick off - I'll get the ball
I block my own WE-Catcher or Gutter Runner (with Sprint) and push him on pace into the opponents half, use my Blitz-action to minimize possible Tackle Zone on his way to the Endzone, pass the ball to the catcher, he catches and move his 12 paces down to the endzone (1 turn TD). Ok ... if I block him and goes down, I'll cause a turnover, but the chances to push him are very high (2 dice block).

No, you cannot. That's why you have to push an opponent into your player to do a 1-turn TD.

Where I can find it in the Rulebook ...
?? What. That you can't block your own players or how to make a 1-turn-TD?

The blocking rules only speak of oppsing players => you can't block your own players, because you can't argue that "it's not mentioned thus not forbidden" as then I could say "may player teleports to your end zone, it's nowhere stated I can't do that"
EDIT: You already found it.

For a 1-turn-TD:

The only way to get a 1-turn TD player, is a gutter runner with Very Long Legs and Sprint, or wood elf catcher with MA+1 and sprint.

In the LRB 5.0 Very long legs no longer adds to movement so the only way is to get +MA

Meh, I have an Orc team that can OTT. Catcher grabs the ball, throws it to my AG4 Goblin who is then hurled down the pitch by my Troll, lands on his feet and legs it into the end zone!

I hope you mean "hands-off" to Goblin, because the throw-team-mate is a pass action and you can only make one pass per turn.

We've been playing Throw Team Mate as a seperate action to a pass because the ball isn't necessarily thrown along with the gobbo/halfling (I tend to use goblins as long range Troll powered ballistic missiles)

Well, if you house ruled that it's ok, if not, then it is illegal. Throw Team Mate is a pass action, so it's either the ball, or the gobbo with or without the ball you can throw!

Longshot is right.
Aside from the odd gutter runner with a move boost and sprint, I've done just fine for years with either a gutter runner, a wood elf catcher, or a move boosted 8 moving catcher (like humans) - all with just sprint.

Now maybe you'd not call him an "OTS player" but he is far enough over the line for me to call him that.
