Bloodlust Question

Hi everyone...

Been reading the skill descriptions on LRB4, to remember what most of them do, and an interesting question came up in my mind. I search the forums, and found no topic related to this.

The doubt concerns the Bloodlust Racial Characteristic. Well, I know a failed roll "forces" me to take a move action and end up near a Thrall, but it doesn't state one thing...

Imagine I'm playing against another Vampire team. Is it possible to use an opponent's Thrall to quench my Vampire's thirst? :D

If it is, this would be an awesome way to take some opponents off the field

LRB 5.0 clarified the skill to say that it must be one of your thralls.

Ah, I haven't read the LRB5 yet.

So under LRB4 rules it is possible, right?

No, it is not. Only your own Thralls.

Yeah? Where's it say that?

It doesn't, which is why it was clarified for LRB 5.
The intention of the LRB 4 rule was it had to be a thrall on your own team, but didn't explicitly spell it out (not an unusual event with GW rules), so you (as a league/group) need to make a ruling either way, and stick to it.

Tbh, if only for entertainment value, I'd probably let it be any thrall, even though I know it's not the "correct" ruling.

I think letting it be "any thrall" makes the game much more fun, and the number of times you'll have a Vamp vs Vamp game (except on Vamp-only leagues) is very low :)
