Leap and GFIs

Post by arv9673 »

I had a thought about OTT and was wondering if LEAP would an option for that last few sqaures to the EZ if, for instance, the kicker has set-up in a goal-line defense. But then I was not sure if LEAP could be used in conjunction with GFI's. The LRB mentions "normal" movement for leap and the GFI page reads they end up prone in the destination square. Would you roll two GFI rolls and if either one failed the leap failed? Or is it just not an option because i thas to be normal movement? I suppose a house rule could be made, but I can see my FTF league stopping for about an hour to discuss this one if it ever comes up during a game. I have never tried in FUMBBL to see what they allow.

You roll the one or two GFIs first depending on how many you need. If either one fails you fall in the square you were leaping to.

Thanks. That's what I was thinking was most logical, but someone who is a "letter of the law" rule interpreter might... oh, nevermind, i'll just refer to here if I ever run into it. Thanks again, Oh great mind of rules and such. :)
