Why is it that Morg plays for the wood elves but not deeproot?

Wood Elf teams had a choice.
Either they got an on Roster Treeman or Deeproot, but they could not have both due to team balance reasons. Deeproot is one of the most cost effective Star Players and would probably have to be hiked in price if he could play for woodies. Which would hurt 'Flings.
The decision was made and Deeproot now only plays for 'Flings.
Besides, Deeproot is a seriously badass and energetic treeman who enjoys chatting with 'flings. Wood Elves are just too namby pamby running/throwing game for his down and dirty style of BB. 'Flings understand he likes to knock down the opposition so they can kick them where it hurts.

Just playing halflings with a tree that doesnt take root is awesome in itself. I never realized how cool Deeproot was until actually playing a few games with him. Now I want to get Pro on my other 2 treeman so I can have another treeman that has less of a chance of taking root at the worst possible time.......

it's honeslty for the best, too...
winning with wood elves back in the day where they could actually have deeproot strongbranch was so easy, it wasn't even all that entertaining.

I'm playing Woodies and never missed Deeproot the whole saison. If I had some money to spent I always choose Jordell and never Morg. IMO you don't need his talents on a Woodie Team and Jordell drives your opponent with "Blodge", "Sidestep", "Jump" and his AG 5 really mad.

What about the days when they could have 4 Deeproots. I had to play against one of those nightmares on a regular basis.
