hey there guys! me and my friends just purchased a blood bowl set from ebay...and we have a funny question from u.
After reading from the rule book we still cant figure out which is which (english not first language).
When someone attempts a pass....and fail....the ball scatters right? the question is ladies and gentlemen...the ball scatters from which square? the passer, or the receiver (target square) ?
thanks in advance

If the Pass roll is failed, it's a Fumble, and the ball scatters from the throwers square.
If it's a Catch roll thats failed (ie the ball is thrown to a square with a standing player) then it scatters from that players sqaure.

Unless the pass is inacurrate, in which case it scatters from the intended square.
Pass fumbled - scatters once from throwers square
Inacurrate pass - scatters three times from intended square then lands, If the target square is empty it will scatter once more (it bounces)
failed catch - scatters once from catchers square.

To add to this...
If the final result after all modifiers have been added is 1, then it's fumbled. (and ball scatters from once the thrower)
If the throw is inacurrate (less than what you need but not a 1), than 3 times.
Let's say you want to make a short pass with a human lineman. (ag 3)
If youre not in any tackle zones, than it's an agility roll. AG 3 => You need 4,5,6 to succeed.
On a 2,3 it's innacurate, on a 1 it's a fumble.
Same short pass but now with one player in youre tackle zone.
AG 3 but dice result -1 because of the player in your tackle zone.
5-6 succes
1-2 Fumble, 3-4 Innacurate pass.
Hope this helps
