Can it be done. Reroll removal.

Post by zephard »

I am wondering if it would be possible, just like one retires players to make room/lower TV, if one could "retire" rerolls.
I sometimes think I needed to not have them, and have the lower team value. I know almost hersey, but I am saying it (only for myself).

Has this ever been asked?

it's been argued a few times

i've always played that it can be done, don't see why it can't

always found it a bit odd that people argued that you can't, I can see where they are coming from but it never made much sense ;o

It is even in the LRB now (page 29):
5. Each coach must decide if they wish to spend any gold in the team treasury to buy new players and coaching staff for their team, and/or let go (i.e. fire) any team re-rolls, players, or coaching staff from their team who are no longer wanted - however, you don’t get your gold back. In addition, each coach can choose to spend gold from their treasury to increase their team’s re-rolls. Adding a re-roll costs double the amount shown on the team list, but only adds the basic (un-doubled) cost to the total value of the team.
