Can I re-roll a foul?

Can I re-roll a foul if it comes up doubles?

Can I re-roll a foul if it doesn't go through?

The rules were a bit vague...or I was not reading right.

Can you help please? I thought that you could and my opponent disagreed. I went along with his decision as I did not want an argument and the rules were not helping. And the result was my player sent off for fouling and his blitzer hurt.

Somewhere in the rules it says you can never use a team or leader re-roll on an armour roll or injury roll. Since fouling is an armour roll followed, if successful by an injury roll, you can't re-roll a foul.

Maybe we need a new skill "Blatant Stomp" or redo Sneaky Git.

"Player may reroll armour OR injury roll when making a foul action"

thats an interesting skill idea, but surely the wording of para. 3 Pg14 LRB5 (which has, AFAIK, not changed) rules out using a re-roll in this situation.

My arguement was that it was an attack as opposed to a straight forward armour roll such as a fall/knock down...Your player is delibrately going for an attack.

Doesn't change the fact that it is still an armour roll ... doesn't matter how the armour roll happens ... its an armour roll and the rules specifically say that you cannot use team re-rolls to re-roll armour rolls (doesn't say how they have to happen).

I agree with the big GarlicScraper.

If you didn't restrict the armour roll effects, you might as well arm the players with swords and ignore the ball altogether!

Oooh ooh I know this one!

It's the part where you quoted Papa Sebco! Oh, and then the sentence afterwards.

Actually, this quiz show isn't as challenging as I thought it was. And it seems like all the questions and written by Dr. Rhetorical. But I'll wait for the Lightning round before I pass judgement.
