Yesterday we had an exciting Situation. The Starplayer with Seacret Weapon was taken off the field at the kick off by: Throw a Rock into the KO Box.
Well has he taken part in a drife or not? I dont think so, because you haven´t moved your Turnmarker at that moment, but I dont know if the fielding is allready "taking part in the drife".

What do you guys say?

well, in my opinion a drive starts with setting up players and not the first turn.

Blood Bowl is split into two halves of sixteen turns each (i.e.,
eight turns per coach). At the end of the second half the team
with the most touchdowns is the winner. The game is played
using a simple but strict sequence of play, which runs as follows:
A. Receiving Team's Turn
B. Kicking Team's Turn
Repeat A and B, one after the other, until the end of the drive.
NOTE: A drive is defined as playing until a touchdown is scored
or the half ends.
hmmm, not very much clearer now but
- receiving turn has not be done yet

from the kickoff table
Quick Snap! The offence start their drive a fraction
before the defence is ready, catching the kicking
team flat-footed.
this reads like the drive starts with the turn.

So basically from this I would say: no he was not part in the drive and therefore eligable to return.

I'd rule it as being on the field = took part in the drive.
I lost my ball & chain gobbo similarly last night (from a pitch invasion).
Also, if you had one turn left, and a riot moved it to the end of the half.

Well, I can see the point in "On the field" but I´m not quiet shure if that is the same as: "Taking part in the drive" if you understand what I mean :-?

I think at least I found A point for LRB 6.0

If you are on the field ... you are taking part of the drive. No exceptions.

Ok, I see. But maybe that should be clarified in the next Update, because you cant find that in the Rulebook in any wording.

Is that spelled out for the rest of us little people? No exceptions? What's that all about as if it was a stupid question or those trying to help are ignorant in missing your intention when YOu were putting these rules together?

You tell him Aksho. I hate it when he just pops in and says something short and wants us to swallow it just because he said.
