Diving Catch and Int
Can you use DC when interecepting a pass to put you in the line for the interception when you otherwise wouldn't be?

I would think "yes" in that case... it is no longer an interception attempt.... Note that should the ball be between the receiver with DC and a defensive player with DC, the skills would cancel out and neither be able to make the reception....
AFAIK....
Hmmmm, would make DC+Pass Block interesting....

That's pretty much the normal way Diving Catch works, so yes.datalorex wrote:So does that mean that if your opponent is inaccurate, and it lands in a square next your your DC player, you can use DC to attempt to catch it?
@Vomit: If the Pass is inaccurate and would land in one of your players TZ, it's most likely a turnover for your opponent. So no need for Diving Catch, just pick it up in your turn. It's not worth taking 2 skill ups just for the very rare case of DC and PB beeing effective.

Maybe.... remember that it will bounce and that can have random consequences...Meradanis wrote:That's pretty much the normal way Diving Catch works, so yes.datalorex wrote:So does that mean that if your opponent is inaccurate, and it lands in a square next your your DC player, you can use DC to attempt to catch it?

On the other hand... if the ball lands between and you're not next to his player, you can snag the ball away and scamper off... otherwise a dodge is in order....
But, yes, this would definitely be a "specialist"... so maybe not worth it....
