Can Players from Special Play Cards win the MVP?

A mate had THE FAN's Stats jotted down in the #3 slot on his roster and his MVP roll came up three...

Would THE FAN or any of the other Card "Players" be eligible for MVP?

Hence he's not on your roster when you roll for MVP. So no, he can't get the MVP.

There's similar wording for "Not-so-secret weapon" and "Da freight train". Are there any more bonus players? I can't recall any.
