Right, within the definition of Multiple Block, it states that during a "Block Action". That's the only time it can be used.

Please mind the rule's spelling and rephrase the question:
Can you use Multiple Block when you perform a Blitz Action?

This way, by reading the LRB and its description of Multiple Block, you don't need to ask it ;-)

Oh, btw, within LRB 4 it was allowed to use Multiple Block on any block, regardless of Block Action or Blitz Action.

Why was it changed that you can't blitz or frenzy with multiblock?

I understand it takes away power from claw+mb and frenzy combo, but I still find it still find a little lame to nerf it.

You can blitz twice if you get the right Card though.

I think there would be complications with multipleblock and blitz and frenzy, regarding pushes etc. But that could probably be solved.

Thus there is a point in time when you shouldnt.

In all seriousness: The problem with Multiple Block and Frenzy is you can't follow up a Multiple Block, so you cancel Frenzy....

It really would be highly powered... I have a low level Werewolf on my current team who has Claws (inherent) and rolled a doubles for Mighty Blow... he's bad enough breaking armor on a 7.... Letting me break two armors on a 7 each and getting two possible chances at it?! Best not....

And being able to blitz out two defenders... it's close to an auto score when you can't make the ball carrier at least throw the dice before waltzing in....

Frenzy - quite simply because its too complicated to contemplate and potentially (getting 4 hits) a bit overpowered.

Blitz - the new rule lets you hit any two players you are adjacent to. So it was felt to potentially be a bit too good when combined with a blitz since you could form a massive hole in any defence.

But like the Ma9 discussion goes that gutter keeps it because Skaven aren't winning too much already.

Isn't there any similar reasoning for multiblock nerf? Is it really that big a difference whether the mummies or Deathroller or minotaur etc. can now only multiblock from Block Action and not Blitz with it? I'm not convinced it is.

Potentially getting 4 hits doesn't exactly sound overpowered and it isn't that complicated with frenzy, you can hit both if you pushed them so that you are next to them for the second pair of hits.

Every team I currently play has either majority AV7, or the stunty rule. For those teams, 4 hits from a single player really DOES sound overpowered.

Also, if you team this up with some clever playing, if you had two Frenzy/MBlock players, you'd have a LOT of blocks per turn from those two. Easily enough blocking to really hurt elves/skaven/stunties, and to really make other bashers have to work to control it.

I'm not entirely convinced myself that Multiple Block working on blitzes would be overpowered, and it has been discussed at length. However I think the BBRC are satisfied Multiple Block is a secondary skill that can be every effective in some instances - in particular big guys with block. So it doesn't necessarily need a boost and doing so might cause some undesireable effects.

Frenzy/Multiple Block and blitzing all together could be massively overpowered. For instance imagine a Snow Troll - with two skills Mighty Blow, Multiple Block ... four hits with Claw/MB! That is a team killer.

Minotaurs are potentially worse since Horns means they are already S6 when blitzing - so Multiple Block means they could hit S3 players without needing assists (which is also an argument against blitz/multiple block working anyway).

I would prefer the same restriction introduced for Multiple Block as for Grab, i.e. that a player cannot take or use Multiple Block if they have Frenzy.

I just find it strange that you can use Multiple Block (potentially) as a way to avoid using Frenzy.

Just a suggestion.

Only one block by blitz is quaranteed per turn. Elves and skaven are doing fine in the game as far as I know.

Making multiblock a thing that works if and if and but just makes the skill and ruling of it look stupid.

Not being able to blitz with it seems not logical.

More logical limiting would be that you can only hit players that are adjascent to each other and the player blocking.

Another as logical limit(if the protection of the stunties was the question) would be making multiblock not work with Tackle(as the blocker can't concentrate enough on both to tackle them if fluff would be needed) but skills limiting ruling each other out doesn't seem very good ruling.

I just realised that discussing whether a rule itself is good doesn't exactly belong in the Rules Queries :)

Maybe I'll take this rant to the rules feedback
