CAN YOU ASSIST A FOUL WHILST HOLDING THE BALL??

SO SORRY TO ASK A BASIC BUT THIS CAME UP RECENTLY
CAN YOU ASSIST A BLOCK/ FOUL WHILST HOLDING THE BALL?
I SAY YOU CANNOT AS YOU HAVE YOUR HAND/S FULL (AND BLOODBOWL PLAYERS/CREATURES ARE DUMB THINGS THAT CAN SURELY ONLY DO 1 THING AT ONCE HOLD ONTO BALL OR ASSIST FOUL/BLOCK.
I HAVE GONE THRU THE BOOKS AND 50 PAGES ON THIS FORUM WITHOUT FINDING THE ANSWER.

A player with the ball can do ANYTHING that a player without the ball can. This includes blocking, assisting blocks, fouling AND assisting fouls.
The general rule here is that the rules do not specifically say that a player with the ball cannot assist.

Holding the ball doesn't stop you from doing anything you normally could do. It just makes you a target for 11 sweaty men/elves/undead/goats in the other kit.
Also, friendly forum tip. Completely capitalised words are read as shouting, it's a pretty unpleasant experience to read posts like that. It's like being "talked" at by an Englishman on holiday.

In support of the original question: yes, the ball-holder can assist.

For the record, I can talk quite slowly and loudly at you in several different languages.
English, French, Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Kiwi, Australian & US.

There are exceptions to this but they are always listed as exceptions. Ex, Special Card 'Ball Clone' you can't carry two balls at once.

Just because a player is holding the ball doesn't mean that he can't kick a guy who is down.

OOOOOPS !
I play with kingston rover (that sounded better in my head) & we just assumed as the ball handler was busy holding the ball he/she (frakin zons) could not hit/assist etc.
nuffle only knows what else we are doing wrong
