New safe throw + stunty
With the new safe throw description, what happens if a troll/ogre gets the skill and decides to launch a stunty player? Is there an outcome that sees the player remain in the Big Guy's hands?

Re: New safe throw + stunty
We can clarify this if needed ... but I would rule that Safe Throw does not work with TTM.Leipziger wrote:With the new safe throw description, what happens if a troll/ogre gets the skill and decides to launch a stunty player? Is there an outcome that sees the player remain in the Big Guy's hands?

Re: New safe throw + stunty
Good question, but I don't think anyone would take it. TTM cannot throw to long pass or long bomb, so they can only fumble on a natural 1 unless the big guy is in a TZ or near players with Disturbing Presence. In the former case, Nerves of Steel would be a better pick since the big guy will still get the pass off. In the latter case, no skill is of benefit.Leipziger wrote:With the new safe throw description, what happens if a troll/ogre gets the skill and decides to launch a stunty player? Just because a certain combination of skills isn't a good idea doesn't mean that it won't happen. Might as well cut the question off here while we have the chance. Seems to me there are two likely choices.
A) Safe Throw doesn't work with TTM.
B) Big Guy decides the throw is a bad idea and sets the stunty down in the square he started in, no landing roll needed.
Personally I don't care which is chosen, although A is a noticeably shorter and simpler solution.

I didn't think it could happen, just wanted to clarify
After all, in theory if that could happen, you (on a very rare occasion), be able to walk the goblin/halfling/snotling down the pitch and into the endzone.
