Dump Off clarifications

Hi all

A friend an I were just discussing Dump Off.

As far as we are aware, DO is a pass, but not a pass action, correct?

Do skills such as Pass, pass block, diving catch etc affect it as per normal?
I would imagine so as it is just a Quick pass, but just want to be sure.

Thanks

LRB 5.0 .. yes all of these skill can do used with Dump Off and it will give you 1 SPP if caught by the intended receiver.

LRB 6.0 ... same as LRB 5.0 but Pass Block cannot be used against Dump Off any more.

Hi,
i have another question about Dump-off: Can you use it, when an opposing player is trying to blitz you, or only before a "normal" block?
I assume, it can be used when blitzed, but when exactly can you dump-off then?
When the opposing coach is initiating the blitz or just before the blocking-part of the blitz, i.e. the blitzing player already standing in the dump-off'ing player's tackle zone, therefore giving modification?

That is the correct answer.
