Multiple apothicary use.

This came up in a game last night. One of the players got an extra apothicary as inducements. One of his players rolled a 5-8 on the injury table. Used his first apothicary and rolled a 6-3 (death). Since he had a second apothicary, the question came up should he be allowed to use it. we finally decided that since we couldn't find anything that specifically prevented it that it was fine, He then rolled a 1-4 and into the reserve box he went.

Is this right, or is it considered a second re-roll. I really like our interpretation, but was wondering if we were right.

It is considered a 2nd re-roll so by the letter of the rules ... that would not be allowed.

However ... that said ... I really don't have a problem at all with the way your league handled it. (ie as house rules go ... this one is okay by me).

Thanks for the quick reply. I suspected that is the way the ruling would work....however, I'm pretty sure in this case if you wanted to use both apothicaries on one guy, it shouldn't be too much of a problem. So it'll probably be league ruled in. (It nice being the Comishoner) Besides, I really wasn't trying to maim his player, just clear him off the field.

I'll pass on the official ruling, and then we'll probably agree to play as we did.

Was not the old standard to decide in game rule uncertainties:

If in doubt - roll for it

Whatever two people rule, in all ignorance, innocence, and honesty should stick for that game....

Now that you know better... carry on from there.... :D

I think ya'll misunderstood. I think we will use the multiple Apothicaryies the same way in the future. The previous ruling is already donw and gone.
