Hello,

I wonder if I can use Dauntless + horns to get a 2 dices block against quite everyone.

After a few research on this forum, I have found both yes and no answers to that question.

This combo was well described on a Skaven playbook (published on Specialistgames old site) but if I read the rules, it seems that dauntless is rolled after any modifiers. Who is right ?

You add +1 to your strength (horns) then roll the D6 for Dauntless attempt.

Pre-LRB 5.0 rules. And with a few changes in wording it now works like Pug explains - stopping the "always 2 dice block".

Example that comes to mind: Gutter Runner with above-mentionned skills doesn't get a 2-dicer against a ST3 opponent anymore!
