Can a diving catcher catch an inaccurate pass that he threw?
EX: I play lizardmen and I tried to throw a quick pass to a nearby skink and the ball scatted into the d.catchers TZ, can he try to catch it then?

Don't see why not.
The rules states: "...the player can attempt to catch any pass, kick off or crowd throw-in, but not bouncing ball, that would land in an empty square in one of his tackle zones as if it had landed in his own square without leaving his current square."

Yes you can, but not a fumble!
How about comping

If my slann catcher throws the ball on the square before him, then catches with Div catch does he get a completion?
He catches the ball in the targeted square of the pass, with the diving catch skill, then the ball moves into his square so is this a completion or not?
It's also relevant when thinking of passranges to div catch players, if you throw the ball adjacent to your diving catcher you may avoid intercepts and make the throw longer than it would otherwise be, so will this award a comp if the throw & the catch are accurate, or does the catch count as not happening in the targeted square of the pass as the catcher is not actually in that square, even if he's catching from that square.

Completions (COMP): A player who makes an accurate pass
that is caught by a receiver from his own team in the targeted
square of the pass when the ball comes to rest earns 1 Star
Player point. This is called a completion.
No you dont get any SPP for that.
A Catcher who catches with Diving Catch the ball in a square next to him dont get any SPP either even if the pass was accurate and landing next to him.
You
only get the SPP IF the pass was a) accurate and b) was targeting the player directly now one of the squares in his TZ and ofcourse c) is cought
