Hey i have somewhat of a noob question.

If i blitz or block the ball carrier and he goes down, the ball gets loose and bounces to one of my players who fail to catch it and it then comes to rest - does that meen it´s a turn over then since i failed the catch roll even if the ball wasn´t in my possesion to begin with?

No, because it only becomes your turn when the ball comes to rest, whether that is on the ground or in someone's hands.

No.

Under the list of turnovers on page 7 it says that

failing a catch roll, as opposed to a pick up, is by itself never a turnover
