Stunty KO clarification?

This may be in another post somewhere but the searches I tried were unsuccessful. Thank you for clearing this up.

From Stunty:
...In addition, this player treats a roll of 7 and
9 on the Injury table after any modifiers have been applied as a KO'd and Badly Hurt result respectively rather than the normal results ...
What is the result of an 8

Is it a KO?
or
Is it a Stun?

We all knew stunty use to be -1 (7, 8 stun 9+ Cas)
They took out the -1
They gave specific results for 7&9 and left a result for 8 out
what are we to assume

Would it be to much to ask that if 8 is a KO they alter the sentence to read :
"... treats a roll, on the Injury table after any modifiers have been applied, of 7 or 8 as a KO and 9 as a Badly Hurt, rather than the normal results"

I decided to come back and Edit this, my first response may have seemed rude. Is the person who brought this up playing stunty team and looking for loop holes in the rules? This seems cut and dry to me.

8 is a KO. The exceptions are listed. Otherwise you use the normal results. For example thick skull effects 8, and stunty effects 7 and 9.

They don't need to list what 2 does again for example only the changed results.

I bring up thick skull because if they listed what 8 did in stunty, Now you do have a real rules problem, what do you do with a stunty who has thick skull.

Really their wording is correct and your change would cause confusion.
