I didn't find this question via search, so I hope for an easy answer

Let' say a saurus (AG1) takes an AG-1 during a game.
Question 1:
- His AG is now 0, which is not allowed LRB5 p26
- His AG is now 1, because no charateristic can be lower than 1.

A few games later he earns some SPP and get a new skill: AG+1
Question 2:
- He has AG1 now. AG1 - 1 (decrease) + 1 (skill) = AG1. This would mean, the decrease works.
- He has AG2 now. The value couldn't be lower than 1 after the decrease, so now he get +1, which means 2.

The same thing for trolls, kroxigors, snotlings and for sure some other players i missed.

In your example, the Ag -1 is ignored... and he misses next game... as no Characteristic can be reduced to 0....

Same character now gets an Ag +... is now at Ag 2... and costs 40k more....
