Blitz and Pass Actions

I've read a few of posts with similar issues to the ones I'll be asking, but as I need to clarify this in my league I wonder if you guys could help me with couple of questions:

In "Blitz Moves" (LRB pag. 9) is stated that "The Block may be made at any point during the move, but costs one square of movement for the player to make".

1 -My player has an oposing player in his tackle zone:

a) Can I start my Blitz move by throwing the block to my oposing player, and then move (or do I have to move any square before the block)?

b)If a "POW" is the result of the Block of this Blitz Action, and if the player choses to follow up, does the player still loses one of his MA?

2- The ball is on the pitch.
My intention is to pick it up with my thrower and then attempt a pass.
To do so I should declare a pass action, move the player, pick it up (possibly move some more), and then attempt the pass.

What if I fail to pick it up, and the ball scatters to another of my players (that hasnt had any action yet) that is able to catch it:

a) As the Pass action has already been 'used', can I still declare and attempt the hand-off?

Thanks in advance!
A.

1.
a. Yes, you can start the Blitz action with the Block and move afterwards.

b. No, you don't need to use another MA for the follow up. Basically hte one MA is the follow up, whether you use it or not is up to you. You use the MA on a Both Down as well though, even though there's no push back.

I think you might be confusing in the LRB5 Horns rule :)

2.

You don't get that as you suffer a turnover. From LRB the list of turnovers:
3. A player from the moving team attempts to pick up the ball
and fails (note: failing a catch roll, as opposed to a pick up, is by
itself never a turnover)
Even though your other player might catch the resulting bouncing ball, the pick up has been failed and thus results in a turnover.

1) a) Yes, you can start the Blitz action with the block and then move.
b) Yes, one point of movement is spent for the blitz regardless of whether the blitzer follows up his block or not.

2) a) Well, the action was already declared, so you wouldn't be able to attempt another pass action. However, the point is moot since failing to recover a dead ball is always a turnover no matter if it be recovered by someone else on the moving team after the bounce (pg 7 of the LRB5+Exp).

Edit: Whoops, too slow.
