Talk Fantasy Football

I keep getting in to arguments when using Silibili/Slibli on my Lizardman team as some say it's Silibili (it says Silibili on GW's site) and some say Slibli (including the rulebooks), so which one is it and which one do you prefer too?

Slibli is his correct name as of LRB 5.0 (ie been that way for 2 years).

Thanks as I go to games picking one of the names and I always get someone saying it's the other.

GW need to update there site though as that says Silibili still.

I hate Slibli. Silly billy is waaaaaay better.

I've been pointing out to people that it's Slibli for a while now/ But then got hit with some absurd argument that even though it was spelled slibli that it's pronounced sillybilly in some ancient fantasy BS language or some other nonsense.

I can Read. It reads Slibli. Thats what it is!

The i's in the name are supposed to be pronounced with the long e sound.

Since I'm the one that approved the name change and made the change during my reign of terror in the vault where only my opinion counted ... I know this for a fact not a guess.

Only joking, atleast I can say my mate from the Blood Bowl forum who worked on the game says it's Slibli.... probablly still get into an argument about it though, lol!!

I did the deed ... but it was not my idea.

Amoung several of the vault playtester they thought the Silly Billy store and the long name was kinda dumb ... but I said dumb humour was part of the game so I would not change his name. A suggestion was made to make the name more Lizard like in its phoentics but yet in a form that could still be prounced Silly Billy. I agreed to this and the folks that hated Silly Billy agreed as I think they felt they'd be able to pronounce with a long i sound for the i's and 99% of BB folks would not know that they were wrong in doing so.
