If a character with Wild Animal declares a block/blitz and a +2 is added with a D6 roll how can you ever get anything less than a "3" and how does the roll of 1-3 factor in with the character doing nothing but roaring in rage or are these two separate issues?

A wild animal has to roll a modified 4+ to carry out it's action....

So, on anything other than a Block or Blitz, you must roll 4+ on one die (no modifiers apply)....

On a Block or Blitz Action, a +2 modifier applies... so... anything other than a natural "1" would result in a modified 4+....

Long story made short: as long as you're Blitzing/Blocking, you perform the action on a 2+.... If you are doing anything else, you'll need a 4+....
