Strength 0 Snotling?

Post by JMGraham »

A snotling player in our league got charted and picked up a strength bust. Is the snotling now strength 0? Or dead? Or still strength 1? If it is strength 0, what impact does that have in game terms? Since any number is infinitely larger than zero, does that mean even another snotling would get a three-die blocfk vs a S0 piece?

Thanks,
Jim

No stat can be reduced to < 1 so snots ignore -Str injury results. Likewise a troll would also ignore a -Ag result.

I think this has been covered before. And the extra response is to laugh at you opponent for causing an injury which would cripple most other players yet leaves your snotling with a MNG

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.

Thanks a million! The break was particularly fun because it was a player from the "Ogreville Cat Fanciers", and the player uses a bunch of cute kitten minis as snots. I believe the one with the S bust was named "Oreo". There's something highly satisfying about booting cats down the field, and watching Ogres hurl cats into the endzones.

Strictly speaking, if the rules tell me to ignore the injury if it takes my stat below 1, shouldn't I then also ignore the MNG? I know, this is rules lawyering to the extreme, but RAW.

Hmm. That's not as clear cut as there's the "in addition [to the MNG]".

On a more serious note. What would happen to the snotling if he rolled +ST on a skill (in a game after receiving the injury)? That would mean he goes up in ST, right? If he had happened to roll +ST before receiving the injury, then ST would go down.

I would say yes, he gets to keep the +ST even if injured in the game in which he recieved said injury.
