losing skills/traits

Hi guys just getting back into bloodbowl ,ive recently downloaded LRB6 and can't find the answer in it so ...
can you opt to lose bonehead as a skill increase?

Nope. You used to be able to lose negatraits (bonehead, wild animal, etc.) on a doubles roll on a skill roll, but not any more. Probably made these guys too powerful. So, if you've got 'em, you're stuck with 'em.

Notice though they now have loner, so they can use rerolls after rolling a d6 of 4+.

From the Q&A
OLD RULES THAT NO LONGER APPLY
Big guys requires double amount of SPP in order to gain skills.
Big guys may remove negative traits on doubles star player rolls.
