Assisting a Block...

Post by ErnieB »

Does any offensive player lend an assist to the blocker if he is ANYWHERE in the tackle zone of the defender But NO other opponents tacklezones? Or must you be in base contact with your teammate that is blocking?

Would the second x add a +1 in this configuration as long as he wasnt in a tackle zone of any other opponents piece? Also other way around, would the x lend a +1 if the "o" was the one blocking?

Base contact is required with the opposing player, so if defending required to have base contact with the player blocking, if attacking, base contact required with player being blocked.

You don't have to be in base contact with your team mate who is doing the block/getting blocked, just the opposing player and no other opposing players tackle zone (unless you have guard)
