Removing negative traits

Post by graeme27uk »

Is it still possible to opt to remove a negative trait instead of taking a skill?

It was worth it, getting rid of WA on your RO who HAD to move/do something first, if there were any opponents next to him he was obligated to block them,. No fun when you were surrounded by blackorcs. :(

But it's not possible anymore. Nor needed since WA is rewritten.

Removing Loner, Bonehead, Wild Animal, Really Stupid on a Doubles roll now makes Big Guys horribly overpowered. Thankfully, it can't be done any more except via House Rules (which I wouldn't recommend anyway).

simply removing loner would make big guys ridiculous.

and another thing. removing neative traits seems all fine and dandy, but what about mummies and tomb guardians? would the mummies get +Ma on doubles? Would the guardians get to lose decay?

Mummies and Tomb Guardians aren't really Big Guys. Mummies have no negatraits.
