Technically a "state" should be different from a skill, so they should loose the skill but keep the state. Right?

Re: Eclipse and ineffect neg traits
Correct, I would also add that I believe the conditions for the "state" removal are part of the state as well. Thus Troll or Ogre without a TZ could get it back once activated. If a Treeman that had Rooted turned Goblin was Knocked Down he would lose Rooted.Greyhound wrote:Technically a "state" should be different from a skill, so they should loose the skill but keep the state. Again going by the same assumption, re-gaining the skill would not give him the state back, since the state is acquired only when the player declares an action while having the skill. So you goblin runs around, the eclipse ends, and pop! He's a treeman again, this time unrooted.Joemanji wrote:... and stay unrooted once he returns to normal?GalakStarscraper wrote:If a Treeman that had Rooted turned Goblin was Knocked Down he would lose Rooted.

That would be my opinion.Greyhound wrote:Again going by the same assumption, re-gaining the skill would not give him the state back, since the state is acquired only when the player declares an action while having the skill.
