Starplayers and personal apothecary.

Hello,

After reading this section concerning Staplayers : LBR6 - P51 " Finally purchased/induced Apothecaries or an Igor may not be used on Star Players ever. Star Players employ their own personal trainers and apothecaries who travel with them to heal them from almost any injury (including death) and to get in shape for their next match and will not use your team's amateur physicians.", I'm wondering if the starplayer's personal apothecary is just a background sentence (fluff), a trick to explain that starplayers can not die or a real apothecary which can be used during a game.

Could you help me please?

Thanks

It's fluff to explain why a dead/SI'd star player could show up in future games. Note that it says that their personal Apothecaries heal them in time for the next game, not to finish up the current game.

It's just background ("fluff") to explain that killed or permanently injured Stars are fully healed and made available for the next game (by their "personal apothecary"). Otherwise, over time, a league would face a shrinking list of Stars. You may not use an Apothecary on Stars during the game.

Hope that helps.

Yeah, just fluff. You used to be able to use APOs on Star Players, but it was deemed too good that your opo could invest a lot of effort into getting rid of say Morg and then use an APO to get back 450k of star player.

2 Babes are good in combination with Stars. Also, Stars with Regen (or Thick Skull) are quite handy.
