CRP and 3rd Special Play Cards
Anyone have any experience using the special play cards from 3rd in a league under the CRP rules?
In my 8 game league, I'm not interested in doing up a print and paste job of the cards in the CRP. Perhaps later, but if there's a system to use the 3rd cards I already have I'd like to give it a go.
thanks!

Why not just use a deck of normal playing cards, like they're intended to use?BullBear wrote:In my 8 game league, I'm not interested in doing up a print and paste job of the cards in the CRP. Perhaps later, but if there's a system to use the 3rd cards I already have I'd like to give it a go.

Because I'm anal, plus I don't want to pull cards and reference tables/charts.Darkson wrote:Why not just use a deck of normal playing cards, like they're intended to use?BullBear wrote:In my 8 game league, I'm not interested in doing up a print and paste job of the cards in the CRP. I'll eventually make card backs, sleeve them, etc. but for now I was wondering what modifications (if any) I'd need to make to use the original 3rd edition cards.

Lots.
Seriously, you're better off not using cards than using the 3rd ed ones - you'll need a hell of a lot more reference sheets if you use the 3rd ed ones.

SJMiller created som eprintable ones for LRB5? Possibly LRB6.
They should be linked in the BB resources sticky in general.

Re: CRP and 3rd Special Play Cards
I did such a file. Sadly is in italian.
if you're willing to copy-paste (text is 99% the same as 5th+exp) and learn a bit of Scribus (a free destop publisher like InDesign) let me know, I'll send you the file.
cards are Yu-Gi-Oh sized. I had lots of these cards from my son's younger years and I planned to print the file on adhesive paper, but in the end I printed them on heavy white paper, both sides, on a laser color printer.

The 3rd edition special play cards are terribly overpowered and unbalanced, I wouldn't recommend using them even in 3rd edition.

I checked ... unforunately they are LRB5 cards and not been updated for LRB6/CRP. Hopefully if he gets time he could do that.plasmoid wrote:SJMiller created som eprintable ones for LRB5? Possibly LRB6.

I still have the GW files from when they had them up on their website. I should be able to change the text to match CRP but don't know how soon I would be able to get to it.
