Passing to an opponent and Interceptions

If you choose to pass to an opponent (don't know why you would) does the target player have a chance to also intercept in addition to the catch roll (so two chances to get the ball)? I see this being more an issue in case of Bomb throwing.
I had this happen in BB:LE last night and was wandering if this is a rule I have been playing wrong or a bug (I am guessing bug).
Cheers,

I believe its a bug, because the player in question would not be in between the passer and the receiver.

You have to be between to intercept.

Piousman, so the BB:LE bomb target got to make both an INT and Catch roll? And here I was so excited about finally getting to use the bomber.

In my case it was the ball. And yes, the target did bot intercept and catch roll (which he failed). I have not tried with the bomb yet, but I expect the result to be the same. Or would it?
