the one inch floor tiles are a little smaller than the original pitch, but the 1.5s are quite a bit bigger.
15x26 inches- 38x66cm
22.5x39 inches -57x99cm
What do you folks think? Would it be better with a 1inch grid that is easy to carry and setup, but a little crowded for the miniatures, or a 1.5 inch grid that is pretty big and heavy, but has plenty of room.

Make everyone use 2nd edition models and the 1" is perfect if I remember. The old grey field was about 1" squares or so.

BigBelcher is making a pitch using Hirst 1" tiles and tile spaces, which seems to give about the right size.

once I asked bruce if he was interested to make tiles of the right size.
he answered to make them on my own.

Its such a shame Hirst don't make moulds for 29mm slabs. They look so good and would be perfect for my underground pitch project.

I use the 1.5 inch squares. Its perfect for an Ogre board.
