Dodge into square with ball and KO'd, does ball scatter?

Happened last night, dodged into a square that contained the ball and KO'd my player falling over. If my guy had stayed on the pitch the ball would have scattered, does it anyway?

Still roll for bouncing ball. It is the Player landing in the square that triggers the bounce.
