Stops Frenzy?

Post by Smurf »

This has niggled me.

The list of stuff that stops fenzy are:

1. Both down result chosen
2. Push Back + fend
3. Push Back + Standfirm
4. Unable to GFI
5. Attacker Down

That's right isn't it?

Stand Firm doesnt stop Frenzy. It just means the 2nd block is in the same square.
If a 'Pushed' or 'Defender Stumbles'
result was chosen, the player must immediately throw a second block
against the same opponent so long as they are both still standing and
adjacent
.

#3 is incorrect - Stand Firm prevents the player from being pushed, it doesn't change the fact that the Frenzy player rolled a "pushed back" result.
3. Some skills refer to pushing a player back in order to work.
These skills will work as long as you roll a result of "Pushed",
"Defender Stumbles", or "Defender Down" on the Block dice.
(Also, #2 is correct, but if they use Fend, but also have Side Step, and SS next to the Frenzy player, then the Frenzy carries on.)

Alright, if you're going to be like that, tactically not using dodge on a defender stumbles :D

For tidiness, I would add that Frenzy still works against Fend if the Frenzied player has Juggernaut and is taking a Blitz action (Fend does not work in this case).

Seems like as good a place as any....with frenzy/dauntless, do you have to dauntless up again on the second block as its a new block?

Or if the fend player has sidestep and moves next to the blocker!
