A few questions for a newbi...
1. If a wild animal is knocked down is it forced to stand up?
2. If I do stand up am I forced to use my team's blitz action if an opponent is within range?
3. Can I choose to block OR Blitz? Say I have an opponent next to the WA and an opponent 2 spaces away, am I forced to block the opponent next to the WA or can I choose to blitz the guy 2 spaces away.
Thanks

1. No.
2. You may use EITHER. IF an opponent is adjacent you MUST block/blitz-block an adjacent opponent (p26 of the living rule book).
3. Yes. An adjacent opponent MUST be blocked. Unless you are on the ground, activate to move, and remain on the ground....
To the best of my ability to read and interpret

1) No
2) NO!!!! .... absolutely not ... part of the forced block is that WA be standing at the START of his action not sometime later into it. Otherwise Break Tackle would be a meaningless skill for a Mino.
3) If you started your action upright and have an adjacent opponent you MUST block him. Blitzing someone farther away is not an option.
Galak
Thanks...

This is what I thought but I was being told differently. It's makes the Rat Ogre a lot less sucky.
Thanks again

I don't know how sucky you thought it was before but if this is less so, your previous idea must have been horrible. WA allows your opponent to play your player with very little of your own control. That's sucky!

but i think it does make the skaven fit the 'skaven' role better.
also, it helps make the game a little more fun i think
