This came up last night and I wasn't sure I played it right so hope someone can put me straight...
I threw a long pass (not fumbled or intercepted) but failed the pass roll. The rulebook says the ball will scatter 3 times but can't be caught until after the 3rd roll as it's effectively still in flight (or words to that effect).
If the ball lands in an empty square after that 3rd roll does it still bounce once as per the Bouncing Ball rule? I thought it should but I wasn't sure?
Thanks

Yes, you are right the ball will bounce, the rule is on page 13 under "Bouncing Balls" would you believe.
"the square where a thrown ball lands is unoccipied (or occupied by a prone or stunned player) then it will bounce."

Re: Scattering a loose pass
no problem, added the actual quote, don't want Dode upstaging me
Some of the rules are so ingrained, I had to think about where I would find this.

I could kick myself
I've read the book a few times now but I think I need more game time to let it all sink in!
Thanks again.
