#10 Blitz! and pass on Cyanide

Playing Cyanide version, rolled a #10 for Blitz! Picked up the ball and wanted to pass to an empty square, but the game wouldn't let me pass. The rolls didn't come up but I did keep the ball without a turnover on a 4AG orc. There is nothing listing throws in the Icepelt rules for passes so it seems like nothing should change
10 Blitz! The defence start their drive a fraction of time
before the offence is ready, catching the receiving
team flat-footed. The kicking team receives a free
‘bonus’ turn. However, players that are in an enemy
tackle zone at the beginning of this free turn may
not perform an Action. The kicking team may use
team re-rolls during a Blitz. If any player suffers a
turnover then the bonus turn ends immediately.

The ball doesn't land until the kick-off table result is resolved.

What he said. How exactly did you pick up the ball? It's still in flight until the kick off table is resolved. The best you can do is position yourself under where it is due to land.

I "think" that the Cyanide version makes you make the catch roll as soon as you get to the square (which can screw up your Blitz turn), though you can't move any further.
I might be wrong though, seeing as I can't play tthe game, and Focus can't be arsed to provide me with new downloads.

Sorry Simon, the game lets you move to or through the square the ball is landing in but the catch roll is at the end of the move. The game does it exactly right.

ahhh bolded what the issue must be. hrm... maybe the second release will fix the silly issues we keep finding

I believe that if you carry out a Blitz Action then the ball lands during your Blitz! turn. This would have allowed the OP to pick up the ball as described and is clearly a bug.
If you don't carry out the Blitz Action the ball remains airborne as it should, working as besters stated.

Like all the best bugs this probably doesn't arise all the time, I'm sure I've blitzed and had the catch at the end. Can't comment on trying to Throw the ball as I haven't done that part.

I'm 99% certain that the blitz works as it should, ie drops at the end of your turn and you then can't take any additional action

Yeah, once in a while it drops early. Often after you've taken a few actions but before you've ended the event. I've only seen it a few times, and not recently, so maybe they've fixed it by now.
