Hello,
A question has risen in our league.
At the end of sudden death overtime, the match is a draw.
If a match is won by team A over team B by a penalty shoot-out (LRB6 P15 : after 2 halfs and a sudden death overtime : 1 Dice + Rerolls)...
What post-match sequence do you apply to generate the winnings for the match and the modification of fan factor of the teams ? (P29)
A draw ?
A victory of team A and a defeat of team B ?
Thanks !

You've already answered your own question. Team A won. Doesn't matter how they won, just that they won. Give them their rewards

I don't know if it's so simple. You're right, team A
won thanks to penalty shoot outs. But it was a draw at the end of the overtime.
Maybe it's only a question of culture. But, in France, for sports bets, for sports statistics, winnings after penalty shoot outs count as draws. I don't know if it's the same logics in England and in other countries. But, for us, penalty shoot outs are here to decide which team will play the next round. For any other concern, it's like if the game was a draw. So ssb question hasn't a so simple answer in my opinion (even if I would totally accept that all winning bonuses are for the "winning" team).

+1....
And not a particularly satisfying way to win... much prefer ties and the +1 to the money die roll....

Well I agree on that. We'd rather replay the game than use the shoot-out rules.
