diving catch + kick-off

Post by Bakunin »

"So.. quick snap trick... is this possible?

I recieve, my diving catcher is on the line. The ball is about to land in my catchers square. I get quick snap. I move the catcher into opponent half. I use diving catch to try to catch it. Touchback! I give the ball to any player on my team.?"

I would say legal.

Yep, that's fine, as heavily discussed on Fumbbl!

as long as you actually catch the ball. it does not move into your square unless you catch it.

Not the case, as a failed catch will bounce from the catching player's square, so it is as if the ball hand landed in the catching player's square, so touchback.
