Injury and Stat increase stacking

If you get a move boost, can you then get 3 move decreases?

If you have a move decrease, can you then get 3 move increases?

The latter seems to be a definite yes, as the rules say no more than 2 above the starting value.

The former seems to be a no, as the rules say can't be reduced by more than 2.

Is this the intention? This was posted (thanks xnoelx) on the NAF Clarifications bit.

Thanks,
Mike

No ... only 2 max.

Yes ... limited only by no more than 2 over the starting value and no higher than 10.

Intention ... hmmm ... I'll tell you the truth on this one and you can decide if that qualifies as intention.

Ian and I were aware of it. Before Ian left we had not changed it.

Once I was the sole guy in charge ... I decided that as rare as the case would be for it coming into play ... it did not require a rule rewording to change it.

Very clear, thanks :)

The way I've worded in the clarifications is "you can get 3 (or 4) stat increases of the same kind if some of these are negated by injuries, but you can only get affected by a maximum of 2 stat decreases of the same kind".
