A Sidestep question

Post by Darkson »

I apologise if this has been answered before, I did a search but couldn't find anything.

In my printed copy of the LRB, it says I may put my player in any adjacent square, but in LRB2 it says this skill cannot be used if there are no open squares.

When was this changed/clarified?

As far as I know the clarification has always been the correct interpretation of the rule - eg you can push a side stepper off the pitch if all other squares are full up.

They did not have this clarification before, but i am not sure when they added the phrase about cannot be used if there are no open squares.
But the rules have always been the same as far as i know.
