A REALLY STUPID Question :-)

Post by SkiJunkie »

Can a player with BONE HEAD help a player with REALLY STUPID on their REALLY STUPID roll?

I was thinking they can't but now looking at LRB1.3 is only mentions REALLY STUPID cannot help REALLY STUPID.

How do most people play?

Good question, by the rules i would say they can help, but only if they havn't suffered a bone head roll. So as long as they passed their previous roll I would say they could. If they failed the roll before, I would say they couldn't unless you make their bonehead roll before the troll does their action.

I say that he can always help. It depends a little how you rule the lost tackle zone on bone headed.

Even a failed Bonehead roll the player can still assist a block right? SO if that's the case he can still point to the troll in the right direction.

we had this situation last year and it sounds realistic to our ears that you can NOT.
it seems logical

Another one that's legal by the rules, but totally ridiculous (and which we've house ruled out in our league), is having Fungus the Loon help out the trolls. I can just imagine him shouting instructions to the big greenies in between gibbering insanely and twirling about randomly :)

It used to be that you had to be neither bonehead nor really stupid in order to help, but they must have deleted that part in the same manner as they did with max 9 FF to start. Expect it to be back to normal as soon as they realize it.

If a dude fails his bonehead he's left on the pitch trying to remeber what to do how could he order a troll to get the 2+ roll instead of the 4+ roll on really stupid. This sounds odd to me. How can a dumb guy who lost his action through bonehead help out a troll by ordering him.

sorry dakkakhan but I don't think that would be logical??!!

No it is not logical, but according to the rules it is possible.
House rule it as you see fit.
