Assist ball & chain

Can I use assists when I block one of my own players with the ball & chain to get more dices ?

So while normal rules apply for the block against your own team, to assist your player must be adjacent to an enemy player. In the case of blocking a friendly player, this is not the case and so they cannot assist.Assists wrote:In order to make an assist, the player:
