I am sure that this has been asked before... BUT I really couldn't find an answer.

At the end of my PBEM games, players hire Freebooters.

My question, do Freebooters alter your TR, and if so what about Stars?

I always felt that if you hired the Count for example that you would spend 90k from your Treasury and would put 180k as his value on your roster. Thus affecting your TR. Is this correct?

I have done this with other Freebooters as well... say I freeboot a Gobbo, I pay 20k and then put 40k on the roster. After all, he is a player, right? And should add 40k to the roster not half of his value.

Bottom line... help. How should freebooting be handle in terms of TR?

Usually freeboots are before the game - and TR calculated after the game.
If, for any reason, you prefer to freeboot at the end of the game (for next match, I supose) than make the TR calculations before (or just let the star player value be what is paid).

I know this because I asked the same a month ago...

Freebooting does not effect TR.

TR is only calculated at the end of each game, freebooting occurs at the beinging of each game.
