Discuss Fantasy football-style board games - GW's Blood Bowl, Impact!'s Elfball, Privateer Press' Grind, Heresy's Deathball, etc. THIS IS NOT AN NFL FANTASY FOOTBALL SITE!
Don't understand a particular rule or just need to clarify something? This is the forum for you. With 2 of the BBRC members and the main LRB5/6 writer present at TFF, you're bound to get as good an answer as possible.
Can you chose to pile on, after you made the AV roll?
What I mean is:
You block, you follow up, you make the AV roll and then decide if you'll pile on or not.
Deathwing ... remember this is the friendly board .... anyone trying to start the getting hostile over this will be shot ... I know have a network of people all over the world ... I can get beanie babies from stores in New Zealand ... I can have you executed for getting hostile about Piling On After ... see easy solution .. no locked threads required.
Really I think I have the best answer ... I'm running two PBeM league .... one league is doing Before ... one After ... we'll see what the results look like when its all over.
There's a combo I thought I'd never see - BB and Beanie Babies.
0-16 Beanies 4-2-2-10, Cute(1), Thick skull.
(1) Cute: a roll of 4+ on a d6 is required to throw a block at a beanie because they're just so gosh darn cuddly.
Oh god....
(desperately trying to resist the piling on argument....)
Quote from BBMag No.2, p.5:
Piling on must be declared before the armour roll is made, not after the roll as is normally the option (you must decide to pile on after the block rather than after the armour roll).

Currently under BB2k1, you don't need to use Piling On until after the AV roll. Same with DT.

Holy crud on a stick! DT is used after the dodge roll is made? I knew the retroactive diceroll thing applied to the acting player but it works on out-of-turn actions as well?
