Venting after getting back

Post by gken1 »

Just got back and trying to catch up with the last 5 months.

I like the idea of a new undead team but where does a werewolf come from to play on it. Everything else makes sense. Is this just GW trying to pre-promote a new fig? Why not just make a werewolf team? I just don't feel the werewolf fits the undead feel. Maybe more of a Horror team or something.

I like the new Khemri team overall....probably the best line in the game.

Vampire Lords are back? I thought we were trying to get rid of this guy?

Ken

The Necromantic team has had a mixed welcome. Most people are upset the most about the fact that the Undead team is going away because of it and the other 2 undead teams.

The Khemri team is so overbalanced in its current state that it is sickening. 4 ST5, reroll using mummies, with Mighty Blow, under the current Pile On rules means that they will consistently lead he league in casualties, and in most cases, will more then double the 2nd place team in this respect.

Vampires are back, but most likely will be using the new (C)OFAB rules. They seem the most balanced of all 3 teams, a good mix of good game/bad game results.

I don't believe that the current Khemri playtest team has Mighty Blow mummies. For current rosters, check this link:

That link is the way they will probably be when they become official. That roster is not the one printed in BB Mag 5. This link here shows what is currently in testing:

We all know that Khemri will lose MB, but as of right now, they have it, and it is way over the top.

Actually masher, thee MBBL is testing this one:

Which I think is the same as the one Skummy posted.

As for the werewolf on the Necromantic team, at the recent BB tournament JJ said he wanted the necro team to be thought of as a "Hammer House of Horror" team, so this explains the were's inclusion. Of course, as a Norse coach, I think it should be on the Norse roster

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Uh oh. Somebody posted High Elf #2. Too bad I'm going to be out of town for a week, as I can't wait to see the debate get started on this one.
