Leaping into square with ball...

Earlier a friend and I were playing a game, where he fumbled the ball trying to pick it up, and after bouncing it landed within my endzone. Wardancer shot straight towards his player leaped over and landed in the same square that the ball was in.
Now the question is, does my WD get a chance to catch the ball, or does it bounce away when he lands?

The wardancer can try to pick up the ball if the leap was succesfull.

Not quite correct ... the Wardancer has to try to pick up the ball if his leap was successful. Under the current rules there is no option not to pick up the ball if you enter that square.
Of course if the leap was unsuccessful, the ball scatters ...

Sorry, when I wrote "The wardancer can try to pick up the ball", I meant the wardancer has to pick up the ball and score that TD but the odds of rolling a 1 (if there is no opponent around) always exist...
Indeed you cannot choose wheter to pick up the ball or not when entering a square.

Hey, thanks a bunch you guys. We played it out as though he could pick up the ball and indeed he did with the one tackle zone on the ball and scored.

Glad to see that we played it out correct.

after bouncing it landed within my endzone
... is what ShadowElf said. He probably didn't mean it though.
