VLL vs + MV

Post by los_locos »

Okay, I was wondering how you guys think about this!!! When you roll a 10, with a rat or an other creature who can Physical skills, would you choose VLL or extra movement. VLL is better I know but its more difficult to get a + MV. You can always get VLL later. So what would you choose??????

I think, despite that extra movement you also get +1 to interceptions, right?

I guess, that's the point. For someone who is intended to make interceptions (has or will get pass block), take VLL. If you are only out for the movement take +MV, as you said another VLL might come your way.

If this is a Gutter Runner we're talking about, give him the MA+, assuming you're going for a one turn scorer. You're more likely to get another set of doubles than you are to get another 10. Save the easier to obtain mutation for later.

yer but give him dauntless and if you get the second double you can give him horns and he would be far more useful

even with just dauntless he is more useful than +1 ma

I'd take the movement first. Although definately not as fun as the mutation, it's rarer to roll.
I lucked out and had the Long Legs and then rolled a 10. Wonderfulness is the one turn obnoxiousness! Now he has Sure Feet, although Pass Block would have been great, that player tries to NEVER play defense.

You may want to concider other mutations though. Leap and Big Hand can be very useful for when the ball is surrounded by too many players for anyone to get and you know you're going to loose in the ensuing fight for it because you are weak little skaven.

On a 5 5 for a GR I'd go with Grumble and take Dauntless. Another double and horns, and with block you have an awesome blitzer (MA 9, AG 4, 2 dice blocks on anyone).

If its a straight choice +MA every time.

If you are looking for a one turner you have gotta go with +MA every time, don't waste VLL when you get thge MA result. Cause later on if you get another doubles take it then, how often do you need the +1 to interceptions with a one turner, hell spend the defensive drives in the dugout most of the time
